I have to brag on this one a bit. HELLO! She’s been taking my brunch order after mass every Sunday for quite some time now. Her mom + dad own 1809 in Slaton, Texas and it’s our favorite place to hang out after mass. Great food and good drinks which anyone knows is the perfect brunch combo. She’s super sweet and funny and most of all, can hold her own, which is super important, if you know her Daddy. I was BEYOND flattered when she chose me to photograph her GRAD photos. She’s a senior this year, a SLATON TIGER and is absolutely GORGEOUS! I’ve watched her grow up into a beautiful young lady! Making Slaton proud, Miss Kali!

Where do you go to school? Slaton, Texas, USA
The most kick ass teacher you’ve ever had? My first grade teacher, Miss Mitchell she is still my favorite to this day
Plans after graduation? Ijust got accepted to A&M corpus but I don’t think I’m going to start there. I think I’m gonna start at SPC. I plan on getting my associates and then going onto sonography school
What is your idea of perfect happiness? My idea of perfect happiness sipping a Shirley Temple at the beach👙🌊🥥🌴
When and where were you happiest? I am happiest with my family and boyfriend when we’re at the beach (I’m a beach girl lol)
Greatest fear? My greatest fear is bugs EW!
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I let my fear of being uncomfortable keep me from exploring my options
What is the trait you most deplore in others? The inability to be kind you never know what the person next to you is feeling
On what occasion do you lie? When I’m upset and I say I’m not, just to avoid confrontation
What do you dislike most about your appearance? My pale skin. (I interrupt this blogcast to let you know your skin is PERFECT! It has a glow to it in the best way and you were created in HIS image, so own it babe! That said, now that I know, I will edit the rest of your Grad photos with that in mind.)
Which words or phrases do you most? When I dont know an answer or what someone is asking me I say question mark!! Basically saying that I didnt get what you were saying.
What or who is the greatest love of your life? Jeremy (the bf) is my greatest love💕
What is your current state of mind? I am very happy with myself and my life currently
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would that be? I would LOVE to tan easily instead of burn
If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be? Learning how each person needs to be handled when upset that would have made our lives smoother a couple years ago, everything is figured out now!
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Probably getting through my freshman year and finding happiness
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be? I would want to come back as a dragon fly.
What is your favorite occupation? If money didn’t matter I would LOVE to be a silver smith or florist.
What is the quality you most like in a man? I love it when Jeremy does the blue jobs, leading the way, carrying heavy things, etc.
In a woman? When she does the pink jobs, like being there emotionally, kindness, feminine.
What do you most value in your friends? Loyalty and kindness
What is it that you most dislike? BUGS!!!
Which living person do you most admire? My mom, she handles every situation so right.
