the one with a bridal session at the Buddy Holly
Now that Jaycie + Rex are married, I can share her gorgeous bridal session sneak peek! We photographed these at the Buddy Holly PAC which is where they got married! Heirloom in Slaton made the fabulous bouquet. BRAVO! If you are thinking about skipping the bridal portraits, I encourage you to think about a few things.
It’s the first time you will have your dress, hair and makeup, along with shoes and “unmentionables” all on at the same time and for quite some time. Meaning, you will be dressed, moving, swaying and dancing for about an hour. Sometimes even longer and most girls? They try it on for maybe 20 minutes before hand. It’s the perfect time to try hair and makeup. So many end up changing their minds after they get their bridal portraits back. OR they decide up for the portraits, down for wedding day. Or vice-versa. Totally your call. But being in the gown that long, with the shoes, veil, etc., gives you a chance to see how it’s going to go before your big day. Can you sit down for a while? Can I lift my arms to dance a slow song? Wait, are my shoes catching on that netting? Hello! Just do it!
Ever square inch of your gown will be documented and perfect for printing for future dressing areas, bedside tables, to gift your mom, etc. Just a great way to enjoy your wedding dress and some fun times, just for you in the midst of all the wedding planning.
Nothing like having a BIG awesome canvas of you on your wedding day at the reception for all to oooooh, ahhhhh…over. Love it!
Jaycie was no exception. Her gown featured some very cool details and after bustling for the reception, she was able to take the sleeves off and feature two completely different looks as far as a bride goes. You chose well, Jaycie. Very well.
Love does,
Kristin
