Welcome to my website . I’m Kristin and I’m happy to see you here. I’m a documentary wedding photographer living in Lubock, Texas (West Texas USA) and photographing REAL people in LOVE. I love my job. I truly do and if you are in love and getting married, (and sick of looking at the same old, boring photos), then I’m your girl. HELLO! Hit that “say hi” button and let’s chat about your wedding. Oh, and if you are NOT living in Texas, I travel very nicely. I hope to hear from you!
Can you see it in her eyes? I shouldn't have eaten that donut.
kiss ready
see? hands
Mentally taking a picture so she can remember how to bustle the dress.
hands can tell you a lot about how a person is feeling
When he writes you a note like this...
It's always fun to watch brides getting ready. The faces they make in the mirrors? Too funny!
bridal preparations on a wedding day can be relaxing and exciting all rolled into one! cynthia reminded me of Princess Jasmine from Aladdin!
her getting ready moment!
You can do your hair. You can do your makeup. But the minute you put that veil on? HELLO! It all becomes super real. "I'm getting married!"
Sometimes, being a bride can be a bit overwhelming.
long hair, don’t care (except when putting on the pearls)
and a killer set of legs. I think she runs.
Hello, pretty shoes.
a mom is so busy the day of her daughter's wedding. Even if there's a coordinator involved, there's just so much to do. So much to take in. Carla laced Sara into her gown and when she finally got to see the finished product, joy! She was so happy for her daughter! So very happy!
Grandma spent a great moment with Sarah before her vows.
Getting married in Vegas seems easy, no? But sometimes a bride just needs a moment to breathe.
I grabbed this shot of Tyler and her mom in the limo on the way to the ceremony.
when your squad is fist pump happy about your day
Those last few minutes with Dad are just the BEST!
You can make great photographs when there are 3 things involved. Moment, composition and lighting. Alli and her dad got the moment thing down. This image was made in a hallway outside the bride's room.
I always wonder what they are thinking? This is Laura and her dad, seconds before she walked down the aisle. Is she giving him a pep talk? Is he even listening? I can sense he's super proud of her and maybe a bit worried was well.
I think he likes her. Like REALLY likes her.
He sees her.
When your mom + dad smile like this during your vows it means they are happy for you. And they are happy for them.
Sealing the deal.
and then they kissed!
Confession...when a guy cries? I melt.
I now pronounce you...
Daddy, I'm ready!
Yep. I think he really likes her.
right after their first look
clean gums are important people.
Those of you that have older brothers? Yeah, you get this photograph.
"I do".
vows can be funny
Right now? In this moment? It's the BEST!
let's have a blessing for this couple
There's a bride somewhere!
What could mom and dad be talking about? Hello!
She's looking for the exit? or the bathroom.
Macy looks on at her HUSBAND as he's congratulated by his best man.
this kiss, may it last a lifetime!
I adore the close up shots of the vows. ADORE!
Just a minute, Dad. You got something...
You know it's a great day when a "fist pump" is involved. Yeah!
the one with the wedding in Strawn, Texas
From play mustaches to historic churches, this ranch wedding was a lovely memory for me. This image with the groom and a family member is one of my favorites to this day. Full body laughs filled with joy and love are my favorite!
yeah. He's ready. He's ready and he's PROUD!
on top of the world! Or at least Rhineland, Texas.
cotton candy skies were ordered for the day. Just sayin’.
a blessing over the celebration, putting God first ALWAYS works in a marriage. Way to go, you two!
when you’re hungry, you eat! These two were enjoying a sit down dinner at Kitalou Gin.
and they danced...
Cake cutting...you can be naughty or nice. Jake was pretty nice.
Lighting that unity candle can sure be a sweet moment. Especially when your guy looks at you like this! HELLO! LOVE!
The toasts, or sometimes roasts, can make for some pretty good moments.
I understand when they don't invite kids to weddings. Really I do. They can be dangerous!
Getting the party started.
Going to the chapel.
The prayer before the walk.
Girl! I got butterflies when he dipped you!!! Dance like this every night!!!
This groomsmen means business.
I always follow the couple immediately after the ceremony. You get some of the BEST moments during this time. Congrats!
When dad sees his little girl on the day of the wedding, #feels
I think she likes him.
You know that word? CELEBRATE? This is what it feels like!!!!
Carlyle's Dad gave a speech. I don't remember all the words, but I do remember how it moved his son. A guy showing emotion? TOP DOG in my book.
If I had to pick, like really pick. My favorite part of the day? THIS part.
You are never too old to dance with mom.
"What just happened?"
when people you love are truly happy for you, it fills the room, no matter how big the room, with such JOY.
she's so happy for them!
the first dance is such a magical time! enjoy it, soak it in, live in that moment.
I've never met a groom who could dance all night. NEVER. Until I witnessed Simon at his reception. I don't think he ever left the floor.
dance, dance, dance the night away
so dang happy to be married!
everyone needs a tunnel of support after your wedding. HELLO! You win!!!
that’s one way to show off you rings. LOL
sweethearts forever
so much joy at this wedding! The families were filled with love and laughter as we celebrated this wedding INTO INFINITY AND BEYOND!
As much as you hate for the party to end...
what did I say about an exit!
thinking about a bubble exit from your reception? I vote yes!
