the one with Kate’s bridal shower
When we first moved back to the farmhouse, I threw a bridal shower for Sydni Bednarz. We’ve lived here quite some time now, since 2018 and I’ve had lots of game nights and parties, but not a bridal shower. Well, when Kate Bednarz announced her engagement, I jumped at the chance to honor her with a bridal shower on the farm! I’m so glad I did! We went with a garden tea theme and I had the help of 9 other friends and family members.
the hostesses! We are missing Kalyn. Reilly was in a wedding in Austin, and they couldn't make the shower. Since it was Austin, she got to see her really good friend, Brittany.
Fabulous flowers were done by the one and only Danielle, Heirloom in Slaton, USA
I thought they turned out perfect for our shower!
The hostesses brought teacups and saucers from their wedding china and we used them for the drink cups. Above is Julie McGehee’s set, which I swear might not be returned. HELLO! They look perfect in my kitchen!
This is Emily’s set, my sister-in-law.
We served all the Tea Food that Kate loves! Scones, cucumber sandwiches, and various others, just a wonderful spread!
Okay, just to point out, these are NOT Danielle’s. I did these after I decided the mantle needed some decorating.
Kathleen and Summer, of course I grabbed as many photos as I could! Hard when you are hosting at your home and a photographer!
Aunt Barbara, Melinda Heinrich, and Bridgette Bednarz
Megan and Brynn Bednarz
Cindy and her family, who were so much fun! I really enjoyed meeting family from all the sides.
Kellie Ehler, Bridgette, Jill and Kathleen Bednarz
Oh, my gosh! The newest one of our family, Baby Blair and Summer Zoe.
We even managed to get a group shot! That rarely happens at showers. Thank you, Kate for suggesting this.
Kathleen, Kate, and Megan Bednarz with Madison Allbright. There are more bridesmaids but several couldn’t make it.
the MOMS, Cindy and Tami
This is Tami, the bride’s mom’s stepmom.
Blair was quite the fabulous guest! She didn’t talk too much, didn’t drink too much, and only napped for part of the occasion.
Me, Kate and Julie.
We even had valet parking service so the ladies didn’t have to walk the dusty road! Great job guys!
Funny story…the hostess gift was LATE. It was supposed to be here the week before. We got her an engraved, heavy duty, fabulous cutting board. Well, we wrapped up photographs of the board for the bride to unwrap and told her we would deliver it at a later date. Guess what showed up!
Yep. The cutting board. :)
