the one where Blair is baptized

Dear blog readers.

Can I call you that? I feel like I need to blog more. I already keep a journal for “Bird Watching” and one for just day to day life. (even though I only manage to record in there maybe once a week or so…) Blogging more helps me have a place to write and visit and share what I’ve been photographing.

You see, much of our family lives elsewhere. Sure, we live on the Bednarz Farm, and I’m very thankful for that. But everyone else? Lubbock and beyond. Including my niece Brooke and her family. We got together this past weekend to baptize her newest family member, Blair.

St. Francis of Assisi Church held a private ceremony for Miss Blair. It was super special for all of us to be together. Afterwards we traveled to Jason + Emily’s home, that’s Brooke’s mom + dad to eat together, play mahjong, watch football, etc. It was a great way to relax and get caught up on each other’s lives without having to log into Facebook or Instagram.

Super tired now that I’m back, yet super happy and feel just blessed to have the family I have.
