the one with the sad day

I usually NEVER blog out of order and I have a few things that need to be blogged, but it's a sad day in the Bednarz home. We lost our dog Canon last night. He was fatally injured by another neighbor's dog and we are just heartbroken. He died in my arms on the way to the emergency care place for animals. I've lost pets before, but never like this. This is the last image I took of Canon. It was made just this past Sunday while my sister-in-law Emily was loving on him. I was mad at her at the time for not swimming with us. I think she was jealous of my awesome body in a swim suit (ha!), but I'm so glad she didn't, as he deserved all that extra loving. Both dogs were scared of the fireworks and sticking close to any human being they could find. I personally think he was crushin' on her like he did with blondes and cute legs.

We are so going to miss our dog.
