PEOPLE are the BEST thing to photograph in the world, at least according to me, and I currently get to photograph people all the time for local magazines and publications here in the 806. be happy, this won’t take long.  Depending on the day and location of everyone involved, most sessions only last about an hour. We will start at your home and go from there. Some sessions, we’ve walked the dog, went to the park, swam in the pool, etc. You get the idea. The main thing is to have the two together enjoying this time. Just know, “this won’t hurt one bit”. 

family pets are allowed.  In fact, it’s encouraged!  Please feel free to include your dog, pet hamster, even bird…during your session time.  Hello!  They are part of the family, a part of your world.  If you are worried bout them running away, crapping everywhere, etc., then maybe we can include them on a walk or in their yard.  We can figure that out, I just wanted to put it in your head that YES, I will photograph your furry family member.

cleaning isn’t necessary.   Yes.  The session takes place at your home, but don’t think it has to be perfect.  Photoshop can work wonders with spiderwebs, dirty porches, etc.  All sorts of imperfections can be corrected and taken care of.  Our main goal of this photo session is introducing you to the neighborhood. We want everyone to want to know you, hang out with you, love you.  So, stay relaxed about the cleaning and primping and arranging. We can work together to make the best possible photograph.

sessions are FREE.  You don’t have to buy a thing.   You are not obligated to purchase a single photo, print, or digital file.  Of course you will be able to, but it’s not necessary.  I work for the magazine and love meeting new people and getting my name out there to the world.  If you LOVE your photos, which is my ultimate goal, then you will be able to purchase from your gallery.

session times are flexible.  I realize how valuable your time is to you.  This is my job and I’m flexible with my time.  We can choose a time in the afternoon or early in the morning, or even on Sunday before or after church.  HELLO!  Why waste a perfectly good shower when everyone is looking fine?  I will work with you to pick a time that works best for all involved.

Clothing is optional.  No, I don’t mean BE NAKED.  I just mean you can think outside the box.  I’ve had folks in their jimmies and robes cooking waffles before.  Costumes or work clothes or even hobby clothes.  Think about it.  The main thing is dress comfortably and like YOU.
