the front porch session with Danette and her pretty tree

It’s spring here in West Texas! Just look at those gorgeous colors above! LOVE! When I started the Front Porch Sessions, Danette immediately signed up. She just got it, you know? The idea of this time in our lives and working from home, social distancing, etc. and how we needed to remember this, and she agreed that a photo would totally help with documenting how important and unique this situation is. Thank you Danette! Here’s a little bit about her in her words. I think many of you are Cooper Peeps and you’ll recognize her immediately!

Love Does,

Kristin

Tell me about your family. Names, ages, jobs, etc. Anything that tells us a bit about you. : I’m a widow and mom to three adult children and “CeCe” to my sweet grandbaby. Sadie is one of my four grand dogs. She keeps me company while her “dad” is getting started in a career.
When I’m not walking Sadie, I’m in front of my computer crafting messages for donors, faculty, staff and students at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

How has this virus effected your family?: I’m now working from home so Sadie and I are spending more quality time together; but we miss the rest of the family - who all live elsewhere in Texas.

What's been the best thing about social distancing with your family?: There is no one but me (and Sadie), so I just do me.

What's been the hardest challenge during this time?: Sorting through the COViD-19 news that is non-stop.

Do you personally know someone with the virus?: No, so thankful my family and friends as safe so far.
